MOSCOW, Jan 15 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russia’s biggest lender Sberbank grew 24.1% to 811.1 billion rubles in 2018, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the bank said in a statement on Tuesday.
In December, the bank registered 52.2 billion ruble net profit.
Sberbank boosted retail lending by 25.3% in 2018 to 6.17 trillion rubles as of January 1, while corporate loans increased 13.2% to 13.571 trillion rubles.
Retail deposits with the bank rose 7.5% to 13.04 trillion rubles as of January 1, while corporate deposits increased 23.7% to 6.98 trillion rubles.
